Rear Loading Area Permit Application

 

The Chester County Board of Education is providing a drop-off, pick-up area between the Auditorium and the Cafeteria at CCMS.  There are several purposes for this:

 

  1. Make it quicker and easier for parents who come to the school and leave via the bypass or Jacks Creek St.
  2. Lessen the number of vehicles crowded at the front entrance thus making pick-ups there quicker and easier for parents.
  3. Lessen the amount of school traffic on Main St. during heavy traffic times.

 

Due to limited space and the possibility of extreme traffic flow problems for both cars and school buses during loading times, only students with a Back Car Pickup Area Permit will be allowed to be PICKED UP in the new back loading area at the end of school days.  Please be aware that unless traffic flow problems develop, all parents will be allowed to DROP OFF students in the back in the mornings.  At this time we are issuing twenty permits to pick up at the back.  To apply for a permit you must provide the information requested below and agree to the terms listed.

  

If I am provided a permit to pick up at the pick up area off of Stewart St., I agree to abide by the following guidelines:

 

  1. I will enter and exit the school grounds via the Bypass or Jacks Creek St.
  2. I will not be traveling on East Main St. during school pickup times.
  3. I will do my best not to hinder traffic on Stewart St. during pickup times.
  4. I will not exit my vehicle or enter the school building from the back area at any time.

  

If experience proves that more space is available, more permits will be granted after the school year begins.

 Arrangements will be made with East Chester for siblings to be picked up at their cafeteria entrance so that parents with students at both schools will not have to get onto and off of Main St.
