Taylor Burton and Noah Melaro are the January winners of the Healthy Recipe Contest provided by Coordinated School Health. Taylor submitted a Stir fry Chicken recipe that students and staff very much enjoyed. Noah's recipe is for Tuna Macaroni Salad and will be served during the month. Thanks to our cafeteria staff and Ms. Janice Plunk for your help in making this possible. Also a big thanks to our local Subway restaurant who awarded both students 10 free Subway sandwiches!

East Chester was selected as one of only 4 counties in the state of Tennessee to participate in the "Fit Schools" grant program sponsored by LeBonheur Community Outreach and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Chester County's new Coordinated School Health Program was able to assist with screenings of students and provide information to parents concerning students' health and well being. We enjoyed this opportunity to help and had a lot of fun along the way!! A big thank you to all the volunteers, teachers, office staff, and especially our wonderful parents and students!
Thanks again to all who helped make this a success!
