COMPUTER LAB NEWS
All students have completed the prestests in Reading and Math. Everyone is working on the computer-generated prescription. Some students have completed their prescribed lessons and have been assigned lessons in the next grade level. We have been focusing on the reading lessons, but soon we will begin doing some math lessons.
Kindergarten students have worked on shapes, colors, and size. They are now working on the letters that they have studied in the classroom.
Several classes have been taking A+ Science tests in the lab. They study the lessons in the classroom with the teacher and come to the lab to test. Most students have done well, especially first graders. This is the first year for them to take A+ tests.
We are piloting a new program in the lab. It is to help our Spanish-speaking students. We have two students "testing" the program for us. So far, they have done well and seem to enjoy the activities.
