Welcome to the West Chester Elementary Library page!  Mrs. Becky Rowsey is our school librarian. Mrs. Becky is at West Chester on Tuesdays and Thursdays for regular classes.   Mrs. Starla Bogard is our full-time library/AR coordinator allowing daily access to the library.  Students have two opportunities per week to check out a book.  

The books are color coded and shelved according to Accelerated Reader level.  West Chester now has the STAR assessment program which identifies the reading level range (ZDP) of each student. We encourage students to read within their ZDP with hopes of providing success in their AR testing along with working toward an increase in the ZDP. Students can take AR tests each time they come to the library. 

We have access to all 120,000 AR tests. Should you want to see if a test is available for a book you have access to outside our library, you may log into the Renaissance Home Connect at the following address:
https://Hosted 206.renlearn.com/87927/HomeConnect.  The User Name and Password are the same as your child uses to log into the AR program at school. I encourage you to review your child’s AR record at this sight, also.

The collection of library materials at each Chester County school is available for review at the following address:  https//:chestercountytn/follettdestiny.com . Log in and search our catalog.
